About Me
Hi, I'm AJ (they/them)! I'm currently working as a Gameplay/Level Designer on an unannounced project at Demon Jam Games, and previously worked as a Seasonal Activity Design Intern on Destiny 2 at Bungie. I'm a game designer who creates fulfilling player journeys by using the experiential design process to examine the relationship between mechanics and player emotions.
I started game development in high school, where I was president of a game development club that would make games over the course of the school year. I then went on to study at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I'm finishing up my degree from the Art and Design: Games and Playable Media major. Over the course of my time at university, I've worked on several games with large groups, like Cassidy's Castle Cleaners and Ape Ship.
